Kingston Lake is about 268 acres and also is home to a state park, Kingston State Park , which is comprised of about 44 acres with 300+/- feet of swim beach. There is a small entrance fee and it’s important to note that this is a pet free park.

Are you curious about New Hampshire oceanfront closed sales? I know many people are and often ask how much something sold for, so whether you’re in the market for oceanfront property or just like to stay on top of the market this short video might be of interest.

What I did was look up all the Closed Waterfront/Oceanfront listings in Portsmouth, New Castle, Rye, North Hampton, Hampton, Hampton Falls and Seabrook New Hampshire. I went back 6 months and pulled from the Multiple Listing Service. All these home were listing by various brokerage firms and sold by various agents. This would not account for any transfers that might have occurred outside of the Multiple Listing Service.

From Aug 1, to Oct 1, 2011 there were 17 closed properties not counting land, condos or commercial and currently there are 156 active listings.

Over the fourth of July weekend Jay and I camped at Hampton Beach State Park and took long walks every morning at low time. The beach was calm, not crowded and just perfect for beach walking.

The New Hampshire coastline is just a tad under 18 miles long and while small it contains a little bit of everything.  From dramatic rocky coastline to lovely long sandy beaches, bustling working harbors and ports to offshore islands, quaint historical towns and mecca shopping areas, there truly is something for everyone in the New Hampshire Seacoast.

Restaurants  to impress every palette and night life galore,  there is bound to be an area that meets your needs and living on or near the coast is a dream many folks have.  Now more than ever owning a coastal property is within reach.

While, my husband and I don’t live on the coast, we live nearby and have spent many years exploring the nooks and crannies of the New Hampshire coastline and we spend as much time as we can on the beach or near the beach in our motor home.  We would love to show you all we have learned and love about the New Hampshire seacoast.
