Jenness State Beach Rye NH

After dinner in Portsmouth NH with close friends we drove down the coast to Jenness State Beach in Rye NH. It was a sunny late afternoon and so windy we could hardly stand up! Even the sea gulls were unhappy! But no matter how windy or cold it is the NH coastline is lovely!

A perfect spot along the New Hampshire Seacoast

Jenness State Beach is located on Rte 1A in Rye and offers metered parking, rest rooms, picnicking and swimming. The beach is long and sandy and we love walking the beach during all four seasons. Jenness Beach is a perfect spot along the New Hampshire Seacoast to spend a few hours or a lifetime.
