I stopped by Lake Massabesic in Auburn New Hampshire on a crisp winter afternoon, it was late in the day and the sun was starting to set. I Love stopping along the lake as it’s always so pretty. Lake Massabesic is a 2,500+/- acre lake with about 28 miles of shore land. It is surrounded by a 300 acre forest boasting wildlife, hiking, biking and walking. Boating is allowed but there no swimming due to the lake providing drinking water for the greater Manchester area.

As luck would have it, the meeting ran over schedule and by the time I left it was 3:45.

I decided to drive home the back way in an attempt to avoid the traffic congestion in Windham.

It would take a few minutes longer but I wouldn’t have to sit in traffic.

The drive along Lake Massabesic in Auburn and down to Chester is usually a pretty ride.

Today it was exceptional and due to the meeting running longer it put me right at the lake while the sun was setting.

After all these years living in NH and driving back and forth to Concord I had never witnessed a sunset along Lake Massabesic.

Today I did and it was so pretty that I had to stop and take some pictures and shot a little video of the sun setting across Lake Massabesic.

I hope you enjoy seeing this little piece of my New Hampshire back yard…hopefully it will help you understand why I love selling real estate in New Hampshire.
