Jay and I took advantage of opening day weekend at Hampton Beach State Park to do a short RV shake down weekend. Usually, getting a camp spot inside the park is difficult. Like all state/national park systems you need to book well in advance and with out schedule that is often difficult.  We like camping at the beach as it is close to home and allows us time to get away and still work.  Our only issue is wifi.  We simply depend on our electronic devices way too much!

Shake Down weekend was a success! It’s always nerve wracking as you never know what issues you may encounter Our Jaloopa with your rig/camper especially if it’s sat all winter.  We did not encounter any issues!  Thank Goodness!   Now we need to finish stocking it up for the season and dream of our M&J RV Travel Adventures!

Hampton Beach camping is so relaxing and so much fun for us.  I love getting up early and catching the sunrise as it rises over the ocean.

Jay and I just love exploring our coastline and we love chasing the full moon risings and watching the sun set with all it’s magnificent dramatic colors and back splashes.  Last night we took advantage of the full Snow Moon rising and clear skies to meet at the beach after I got off from work and enjoy the show.  Watch the video below and you will see why I say ” Silly REALTORS Chase the Snow Moon “….  silly we are!

Afterwards the wonderful show that nature put on we drove to Seabrook NH and had dinner at the Outback restaurant. Full Moon Hampton Beach NH

Jay and I drove over to Hampton Beach in hopes of catching the full Hunters Moon Rising.  It took us 30 minutes to get there from our home in Hampstead. The weather was chilly but not windy. We love the beach and love chasing the moon.  Our video is not the best quality but hopefully it will give you a little idea of how pretty the beach is, especially in the off season.  We love exploring and sharing all our special places and hope you enjoy seeing our pictures and videos as well.  New Hampshire is a special place to call home, a small state with a wonderful lifestyle comprised of mountains, lakes, ocean, large cities and small towns. The Atlantic ocean is amazing and watching the rising of the full moon Hampton NH is extra special.  We always say NH offers something for everyone.  Jay and I have been full time NH REALTORS since 1985 and would love to help you with any real estate needs you have.

Hampton Beach NH

One of the things we love to do is relax at the beach. We lead a pretty busy lifestyle, as do most people, but we try to chill and relax at the beach as often as we can.  This past weekend was the 3rd dry camping experience of the 2015 season.  Not a lot but really all our hectic work schedule allows.  The Hampton Beach NH State Campground fills up fast and we are more last minute people due to both of us being in real estate so taking a chance and hoping we can get into the overflow area to enjoy some beach camping is just what we try to do as often as possible.

We live about 35 minutes from the beach in Hampstead NH so visiting the beach and enjoying every inch of our gorgeous NH coastline is something we do as often as we can.

Living in southern NH makes beach combing a lifestyle reality and of course our location also offers easy access to The White Mountains of NH and the larger cities like Portsmouth, Manchester and Concord as well as Boston Ma.

The beautiful full moon, the second in the month of August, called a blue moon was proudly displayed in the sky overlooking our lovely seacoast on Aug 31st.

My husband and I were spending a few days on the coast in our RV and we were lucky enough to witness the Blue Moon Rising over Hampton Beach NH.

The sight was incredible and so majestic and the next morning as the sun was rising the full moon was still visible as it started to set over the western sky.

Hampton Beach NH at Sunrise

I don’t often get up early enough to catch the sunrise but when I do it’s extra special for me.  One morning while camping at the beach I got up just as dawn was breaking and took a walk along the beach. As the sun rose proudly over the ocean I filmed this video with my iphone. There were lots of clouds and that made it all the more dramatic.

2011 Sand SculptureThe 12th annual Hampton Beach Master Sand Sculpting Competition begins on Wednesday June 20th, 2012 through Saturday the 23rd.   As always the area will be lit up at night for “night viewing” through July 8th.
